IMI the founder of Krav Maga passed away recently (1998), so his students are still alive. The founder’s line is clear. The Israeli masters (Haim, Eyal, Avi etc), trained by the founder himself, have in turn trained us. Therefore, knowledge has not been altered and is authentic. Ask your prospective instructor for his / her credentials to know his / her level and by WHOM he/she was trained.

Yes. Protective equipment is mandatory so that training can be carried out. Requires genital protector, mouthguard, chin guards, boxing gloves (for a 75kg trainee 12oz, over 75kg 14oz etc), and headguard with face protection.

Of course. With regular, proper and technical training it is possible, just as a small man can handle a big man. Body structure is not an obstacle, this is the “beauty” of Krav Maga.

There is a training program for children from the age of five (5) and up. Training is scaling up in age groups. The Krav Maga system will provide the child with the ability to identify and manage potential threats and attacks.

The method of training is effective and in a short time the practitioner can prepare for the challenges he/she will face. Practitioners can acquire and maintain a high level of competence in a short period of time. Two to three workouts per week, within six months, gives confidence and the ability to deal with the usual threats.
